How to Attend the Wedding Feast of the Lamb

How to Attend the Wedding Feast of the Lamb

As Christians who sincerely believe in the Lord, we all look forward to welcoming the Lord Jesus’ return at an early date and attending the wedding feast of the Lamb, yet we are not clear on how to achieve this. This article will tell us the way to welcome the Lord and attend the wedding feast of the Lamb.

In the last days, God is mainly expressing truths and doing the work of judgment beginning with the house of God. Only the process of undergoing God’s judgment, chastisement, trials, and refinement of the last days as well as being purified and perfected by God, ultimately gaining the truth as our very lives, is truly attending the feast with the Lord.

Bible Verses for Reference: “Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Rev 19:9). “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Rev 22:17). “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried” (Zec 13:9). “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Rev 7:14). “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Rev 22:14). “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb” (Rev 14:4). Classic Words of God: In this age, God will bring about this reality among you: that every man shall live out the word of God, shall be able to put truth into practice, and shall love God earnestly; that all men shall use the word of God as a foundation and as their reality, and have hearts of reverence for God; and that, through the practice of the word of God, man shall then wield kingly power together with God. It is this work that God is going to achieve. Can you go without reading the word of God? There are many now who feel that they cannot go even a day or two without reading the word of God. They must read His word every day, and if time does not permit, listening to His word will suffice. This is the feeling that the Holy Spirit gives man, and this is the way He begins to move man. That is, He governs man through words so that man can enter into the reality of the word of God. If, after just one day without eating and drinking of the word of God, you feel darkness and thirst and you find it unacceptable, this shows that you have been moved by the Holy Spirit, and that He has not turned away from you. You are then one who is in this stream. However, if after a day or two without eating and drinking of the word of God, you don’t feel a thing, and have no thirst, nor are you at all moved, this shows that the Holy Spirit has turned away from you. This means, then, that there is something wrong with your condition inside; you have not entered into the Age of Word, and you are someone who has fallen behind. God uses the word to govern man; you feel good if you eat and drink of the word of God, and if you do not, you will have no path to follow. The word of God becomes the food of man and the force that drives him. The Bible said that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” This is the work that God will bring to completion today. He will realize this truth in you. How is it that man in the past could go many days without reading the word of God and yet be able to eat and work as usual? And why is this not the case now? In this age, God primarily uses the word to govern all. Through the word of God, man is judged and perfected, then finally taken into the kingdom. Only the word of God can supply the life of man, and only the word of God can give man light and a path for practice, particularly in the Age of Kingdom. As long as you daily eat and drink of His word without departing from the reality of the word of God, God shall be able to make you perfect. from “The Age of Kingdom Is the Age of Word” Wholehearted devotion to the words of God mainly means seeking the truth, seeking God’s intention within His words, focusing on grasping the will of God, and understanding and obtaining more truth from the words of God. When reading His words, Peter was not focused on understanding doctrines and he was even less focused on obtaining theological knowledge; instead, he was focused on understanding the truth and grasping God’s will, and achieving an understanding of His disposition and His loveliness. He also tried to understand the various corrupt states of man from God’s words, and understand the corrupt nature of man and man’s true shortcomings, achieving all aspects of the demands God makes of man in order to satisfy Him. He had so many correct practices within the words of God; this is most in line with God’s will, and it is man’s best cooperation in his experience of the work of God. When experiencing the hundreds of trials from God, he examined himself strictly against every word of God’s judgment of man, every word of God’s revelation of man, and every word of His demands of man, and tried to reach for the meaning of God’s words. He tried in earnest to ponder and memorize every word that Jesus said to him, and achieved very good results. Through this way of practicing he was able to achieve an understanding of himself from God’s words, and he not only came to understand the various corrupt states of man, but he also came to understand man’s essence, man’s nature, and the various types of shortcomings that man has—this is a true understanding of oneself. From God’s words, he not only achieved a true understanding of himself, but from the things expressed in God’s word—God’s righteous disposition, what…

True-life testimonies of accepting God’s work of judgment in the last days, being raptured before God’s throne, and attending the feast with the Lord

Bible Verses for Reference: “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunder, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints” (Rev 19:6–8). Classic Words of God: Today man sees that with the grace, love, and mercy of God alone, he is incapable of truly knowing himself, much less is he able to know the essence of man. Only through both the refinement and judgment of God, only during such refinement can you know your deficiencies, and know that you have nothing. Thus, man’s love of God is built upon the foundation of the refinement and judgment of God. If you only enjoy the grace of God, with a peaceful family life or material blessings, then you have not gained God, and your belief in God has failed. God has already carried out one stage of the work of grace in the flesh, and has already bestowed material blessings upon man—but man cannot be made perfect with grace, love, and mercy alone. In man’s experiences he encounters some of God’s love, and sees the love and mercy of God, yet having experienced for a period of time, he sees that God’s grace and His love and mercy are incapable of making man perfect, and incapable of revealing that which is corrupt within man, nor are they able to rid man of his corrupt disposition, or make perfect his love and faith. God’s work of grace was the work of one period, and man cannot rely on enjoying the grace of God in order to know God. from “Only by Experiencing Painful Trials Can You Know the Loveliness of God” God does the work of judgment and chastisement so that man may gain knowledge of Him, and for the sake of His testimony. Without His judgment of man’s corrupt disposition, man could not possibly know His righteous disposition, which brooks no offense, nor would he be able to turn his old knowledge of God into a new one. For the sake of His testimony, and for the sake of His management, He makes His entirety public, thus enabling man, through His public appearance, to arrive at knowledge of God, to be transformed in his disposition, and to bear resounding testimony to God. The transformation of the disposition of man is achieved through many different kinds of God’s work; without such changes in his disposition, man would be unable to bear testimony to God and to be after God’s heart. The transformation of man’s disposition signifies that man has freed himself from Satan’s bondage and from the influence of darkness, and has truly become a model and specimen of God’s work, a witness of God, and one who is after God’s heart. from “Only Those Who Know God Can Bear Testimony to God” Man lives amid the flesh, which means he lives in a human hell, and without God’s judgment and chastisement, man is as filthy as Satan. How could man be holy? Peter believed that chastisement and judgment by God was man’s best protection and greatest grace. Only through chastisement and judgment by God could man awaken, and hate the flesh, and hate Satan. God’s strict discipline frees man from the influence of Satan, it frees him from his own little world, and allows him to live in the light of God’s presence. There is not better salvation than chastisement and judgment! Peter prayed, O God! As long as You chastise and judge me, I will know that You have not left me. Even if You do not give me joy or peace, and make me live in suffering, and inflict countless chastenings on me, as long as You do not leave me my heart will be at ease. Today, Your chastisement and judgment has become my best protection and my greatest blessing. … In his life, if man wishes to be cleansed and achieve changes in his disposition, if he wishes to live out a life of meaning, and fulfill his duty as a creature, then he must accept God’s chastisement and judgment, and must not allow God’s discipline and God’s smiting to depart from him, so he can free himself from the manipulation and influence of Satan and live in the light of God. Know that God’s chastisement and judgment is the light, and the light of man’s salvation, and that there is no better blessing, grace or protection for man. from “The Experiences of Peter: His Knowledge of Chastisement and Judgment”

Sermons and Fellowship: Truly Attending the Feast Is Undergoing God’s Judgment of the Last Days and Being Purified

God’s judgment is judgment through the truth and it can only be experienced and enjoyed within God’s house. It cannot be gained out in the world. Isn’t this exceptional elevation by God? (Yes.) God is allowing us to attend the feast—what feast is that? It is being purified through judgment, and finally gaining the truth through eating and drinking Christ’s words. The value of this feast is enormous. What words are fulfilled by having people gain the truth? God uses the truth to perfect people, to be people’s lives that they may live out an image of the truth—this is the outcome gained by attending the feast, and this is God’s will. From the outside, the words of judgment look like condemnation, but in fact they are purifying and perfecting. Just mentioning judgment causes those who don’t love the truth to run for the hills while those who seek the truth are obedient. “If I’m judged, it is what it is, and I’ll also obey if I’m pruned and dealt with. However I am treated will be fine; I will submit to whatever God arranges.” At the beginning it’s very difficult, but after a period of suffering, people say: “Why do I have such a wonderful feeling? How is it that I have really undergone a bit of a change? How is it that my perspective on things has also changed and I have a closer relationship with God? How is it that I understand quite a few truths now? Oh, so this is what attending the feast is about. Through the bitter comes the sweet, and I have tasted the sweetness. It turns out attending the feast really isn’t bad. Now I know God’s wonderful intention is to perfect people. From the outside, it is the condemnation, judgment, and chastisement of God’s words, and it is God’s righteous disposition coming upon us, but the outcome in the end is all purification and perfection.” Now you understand what judgment is, what the truth is, and what attending the feast is, right? from Sermons and Fellowship on Entry Into Life (Series 103) There are some people who have now been attending this feast for twenty or thirty years, and some who have been attending it for a few years. Haven’t they reaped a lot? The harvest has been immense; they have gained so much! One thing is that God’s judgment and chastisement has allowed people to understand many truths and mysteries. Another is that God’s words of judgment and chastisement have truly borne the fruit of purification in them as well as the fruit of gradually being perfected. What does “the fruit of purification” refer to? The satanic philosophies, laws, logic, and all sorts of poisons that exist within human beings are first cleansed and they come to know the truth of mankind’s corruption as well as their satanic nature and essence. This is very effective for people’s entry into life and transformation in their disposition. And what is most precious is that they develop hearts of reverence for God to varying degrees because they have had a taste of God’s righteousness revealed through the judgment carried out by God. Because they have true reverence for God, they are able to stay far from all sorts of evil and dare not sin in word or carry out any more violence. Even their thoughts and intentions have been cleansed considerably. In the past it was very commonplace for them to resist God and make judgments on Him, but now they dare not make judgments or run off at the mouth when they don’t fully understand something. On top of that, they don’t dare think of luxurious desires such as blessings, the kingdom of heaven, being crowned, or rewards. They don’t dare pursue those things, feeling that gaining them isn’t meaningful. They all begin to focus on seeking the truth, growing in their lives, knowing God, and changing their dispositions. They focus on performing their duty acceptably to repay God’s love. Isn’t that the process of being purified? This is also the outcome achieved from being purified. Isn’t having this kind of entry into life and these kinds of genuine changes the fruit of God’s work of judgment? The more of God’s judgment you undergo the more you will gain. The more clearly you understand the truth, the more you will change. If you undergo little of God’s judgment and chastisement you will also reap little and transform little; the truths you understand will certainly be superficial. This is a fact. Among God’s chosen people all those who understand the truth and enter into reality, whose corrupt dispositions have been largely purified in general very rarely resist God or pass judgment on Him. Even if their obedience to and love of God are inadequate, deep in their hearts they already feel God’s loveliness and have seen what true obedience to God is. For this reason, their entry into life deepens continuously. They become less and less corrupt, they obey God more and more, and their love for God grows and grows because of God’s judgment and chastisement. Haven’t people like this gained purification? (They have.) They are people who have a place in the kingdom of heaven. from Sermons and Fellowship on Entry Into Life (Series 103)

Accept God’s Work of the Last Days Before the Disaster to Be Raptured and Attend the Feast With the Lord

Sermon Topics for Rapture: Accept God’s Work of the Last Days Before the Disaster to Be Raptured and Attend the Feast With the Lord

Now in the last days, God has appeared and has begun to work, that is, the incarnate Almighty God has started His work of judgment for the last days; therefore those who can accept the work of Almighty God are the most blessed. Some religious people hear this and disapprove, they don’t acknowledge this sentence, they say: “Our Lord Jesus is the real God, the Lord Jesus is Christ. We don’t need to believe in Almighty God to enter the kingdom of heaven.” Do all religious people think in this way? Does this conform to God’s intentions? The Lord Jesus never said that if you believe in Him you can enter the kingdom of heaven, He didn’t say that. He didn’t say that if you accept the redemptive work He will forgive your sins and allow you entry into the kingdom of heaven. Nor did He say that if you stick to the name of the Lord Jesus, these three words, you can enter the kingdom of heaven. He didn’t say that. He said that in the last days, all those who hear the coming of the bridegroom and receive him and feast with him are the blessed. These people will be raptured and have the opportunity to enter the kingdom of heaven. The wise virgins can accept the return of the Lord; the foolish virgins will not welcome the return of the Lord. What is the outcome of the foolish virgins? They will be abandoned, eliminated! So, of those who believe in the Lord, only the wise virgins can accept the work of God in the last days, can recognize the voice of God from the truth expressed by Almighty God, and can see the certainty of the return of God. These types of people, the Lord is with them. They will sup with the Lord, eventually being purified, being saved and brought into the kingdom of heaven. from Sermons and Fellowship on Entry Into Life (Series 131) The salvation of mankind comes mainly in two stages: First, God incarnate did the redemptive work, performing the sin offering. Second, God incarnate judges, chastises and purifies man. This is the true witness to God’s work of salvation for mankind. If you can only accept the first stage, which is only accepting the sin offering, but cannot accept God’s judgment and chastisement in the last days, then the sin offering holds no meaning. The sin offering does not purify man; it cannot do so. Only judgment and chastisement can purify man. So, what is the sin offering? It gives you eligibility. If you accept it and accept the Lord Jesus’ name, your sins will be forgiven, and you qualify to pray to God, to come before Him and to accept His work. Is this not a kind of eligibility? Some say, “That is wrong. As soon as we accept the Lord Jesus, our sins are forgiven. How can you say this is just a kind of eligibility?” Is this the correct way of thinking? Does this argument stand? Is the forgiving of sin equal to being purified? It is not. Thus, forgiving your sin is God’s grace, the bestowing of His grace upon you. God will disregard your sins, but this does not mean you are without sin, and it certainly does not mean you will not commit sins. Therefore, believers whose sins are forgiven can still commit them; they can still lie and cheat like before and remain stuck in a cycle of committing sins and then confessing sins. Isn’t this true? If you look at it from the perspective of this truth, does the sin offering then represent purification of man? Is it the work of purification? It just gives man eligibility. Once you have this eligibility, you can pray to God and enjoy His grace. So, what is God’s grace? It is to pardon you, but it doesn’t mean you are purified. It is simply a pardon. In the Age of Grace after the sin offering was made, did man become eligible to enter the kingdom of heaven? They did not. What proof do we have? The Lord Jesus said, “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Mat 7:21). If you say, “Lord, Lord,” then are your sins not pardoned? Why can’t you enter the kingdom of heaven? According to these words, you still cannot enter the kingdom of heaven even though your sins are pardoned. It does not give you the eligibility to enter the kingdom; it merely gives you the right to pray to God, and to come before Him. Why, then, did God perform the sin offering for man? God is holy. If you are a sinner, one who commits sins, and if you are Satan’s type, you are not eligible to witness God. You are neither worthy of witnessing Him nor praying to Him. Were you to pray to Him, you would bring shame to Him and sully His name. So, God made the sin offering. He pardoned your sins. He disregarded them and He pardoned you so that you are eligible to pray to Him. The Lord Jesus’ work opened the way for the judgment and chastisement in the last days. He performed the sin offering, and through this, man is eligible to receive Jesus’ second coming and to accept God’s judgment and chastisement in the last days. This was what the work of the sin offering was about. from Sermons and Fellowship on Entry Into Life (Series 136) What kind of work is God’s judgment and chastisement of man in the last days? It is the work of saving and perfecting mankind; it is the work of bringing salvation to these people and taking them into God’s kingdom. One must be judged and chastised to be raptured into the kingdom of heaven. To experience the judgment and chastisement of…
